dbScramber

dbScrambler is a database scrambler tool, in order to use large datasets in test environments.

Especially for performance testing, the test environments should be as close to the production environments as possible. And in most cases, we cannot just grab a copy of our production databases and use them in test environments due to privacy reasons. dbScrambler aims to address this problem by providing flexible, configurable and expendible ways to obfuscate sensitive data, flip rows/columns, generate random data into particular columns by using preset algorithms etc...

dbScrambler is in the pre-alpha state, and to be released soon.
